Key Responsibilities of a Digital Marketing & Online Sales Executive (Including Blog Maintenance)
- Digital Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Focus on customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion strategies.
- Content Creation & Blog Maintenance
- Blog Management:
- Plan and maintain a content calendar for blogs that align with SEO strategies and marketing goals.
- Regularly update the blog with fresh, relevant, and engaging content tailored to the target audience.
- Content Optimization:
- Ensure blogs are optimized for SEO, using appropriate keywords, meta tags, and internal/external linking.
- Audience Engagement:
- Monitor blog comments and respond to reader queries to foster engagement.
- Promote blogs through social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and editors to produce high-quality blog posts.
- Blog Management:
- SEO & SEM
- Conduct keyword research to enhance organic traffic to blogs and other digital assets.
- Manage paid search campaigns to drive targeted traffic to e-commerce platforms.
- Social Media Strategy
- Share blog content creatively on social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement.
- Develop posts and campaigns that complement blog topics, driving traffic to the website.
- Online Sales Management
- Ensure seamless integration of e-commerce functionalities on the website and blog.
- Use blog content to highlight products/services and drive online sales.
- Email Marketing
- Incorporate blogs into email newsletters to keep subscribers engaged and drive traffic back to the website.
- Analyze email campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track blog performance metrics, such as traffic, bounce rate, and average time on page.
- Use analytics tools like Google Analytics to assess campaign and blog ROI, suggesting improvements.
- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work with the sales team to align blog content with promotional offers and campaigns.
- Coordinate with product teams to produce blog articles that showcase features and benefits.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Leverage blog content to build relationships and guide potential customers through the sales funnel.
- Utilize CRM tools to measure customer interactions stemming from blog content.
- Market Research & Trends Analysis
- Stay updated on blogging and digital marketing trends to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Monitor competitors' blogs to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Budget Management
- Allocate resources effectively for blog promotion through paid ads and other channels.
- Ensure all digital marketing efforts, including blog maintenance, are cost-effective.
- Customer Feedback & Improvement
- Use blog comments and feedback forms to gather insights for content improvement.
- Incorporate user feedback into future blog topics and formats.
